INTRODUCTION

The blog is about fashion. We will show you the differences in tastes between some generations. For this we asked several questions to Candela´s mother and Yu-Li´s sister. In this blog you can know different aspects about fashion with real answers.

QUESTION & ANSWER

The first question is about what clothes did or do they use in their adolescence.

-Candela’s mother used to wear low-waisted jeans and her brother´s clothes, that way she could wear oversized clothes.

-Yu-Li’s sister usually wears leggings having tons of them in different colours, she wears as well oversized hoodies, that she can find in any store without the necessity of stealing them from his older brother.

We can see similarities, so remember, don’t throw away your old-fashioned clothing instead keep them because in some years it would be trendy again. You will thank me.

The second question is: what brands were the trendiest  when they were teens to compare the differences between the trendiest brands  of the 2 generations.

-Candela's mum told us that the trendiest brands when se ws a tween were : FBU, Tommy Hilfiger, Pepe Jeans, Nike and Reebook.

-Yu-Li's sister told us that the trendiest brands are Nike, Gucci, Louis Vuitton Adidas, Prada, Balenciaga and Converse.

We set out the following scene, if you had 200 euros to spend in clothes, what would you buy?

-Candela’s mother would buy a few quality clothes because she wants them to last a lot and also because when she was younger, she never had the opportunity of spending that much on clothes.

-Yu-Li’s sister would buy without the slightest hesitation a lot of cheap clothes in Shein.

That probably would be cause the majority of the generation z never had an important economic issue and they would rather have many clothes that only a few. Don’t you think?

The fourth question is: what would you never buy?

-Candela´s mother would never buy a crop top or a very skimpy bikini, because many of the generation X frowns upon exposing too much below the waist.
